Fundraising efforts for Haiti
The staff and students of HES would like to support the
relief efforts of the Canadian Red Cross in Haiti after the earthquake that has
left so many Haitians, hungry, sick and homeless.
This Friday we will be having a Bake Sale (led and organized
by some of our grade 5 students) and a “Hats For Haiti “day. Students will be
allowed to wear their hats and ball caps in the school for a small donation (any
amount will be accepted) to the Haiti Relief Fund. As well at recess and noon on
Friday we will have home baked goods such as , fudge, cookies etc. on sale for .25-
$1.00.
The staff will be donating their dress down money for the
months of January and February to the Red Cross as well.
Thank you in advance for any help you can give us in our
fundraising efforts.
